We have multiple cameras and not only do I need to master inserting them in the blog I first have to get them from the various cameras to the laptop. Sometimes we use our phones for pictures, Allan has his trusty camera and I just got a Panasonic waterproof digital camera that is new to both of us. As you can see I am embracing the whole "life time learner" motto.
There was a snake in the pool! A snake in the pool with me!!
Allan's almost new '13 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic Electra Glide was packed and ready for take off this morning. It is a beautiful bike with lots of bells and whistles. OK, no bells and whistles but an intercom, FM/AM/Weather Band Radio and CB, a cushy seat for me, and much, much more.
At our first Interstate Highway rest area stop today I saw this sign. I left wondering if there is an emerging theme to this trip. Clearly not a theme that I would have chosen or predicted.
At the Georgia "Welcome Center" we found a shady spot for the bike under this scrub oak tree (?) well clad with Spanish moss. On warm or hot days we especially like to park in the shade because the seat can get really hot waiting for our return.
Good night from Douglas.
